Since salmon are still coming in from the Pere Marquette Lake, there are decent numbers being seen in Scottville and Custer sections of the river. Water is still really low and clear so it needs to rain soon. Crankbait continues to be successful in the morning, while skein and beads attract fish more during the afternoon and evening.
Salmon are still being found throughout the river system. I will start looking for steelhead on the Pere Marquette River in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!

Fish are spawning in the upper section of the river. The lower end is high and dirty. We won't be back guiding on the PM River until late August for salmon. Don't wait too long to book your fall salmon trip as we only have a few open dates left available.
Spring steelhead are on the move through the whole system. The lower river was fishing good before the melt. It should improve when the water clears.
