The first few pushes of salmon have entered the Big Manistee & Pere Marquette Rivers. With the cooler nights and the rain that we have been getting, the fish are actively moving up river. Most mornings, crank baits and spinners have been productive. As the sun comes up, we slow down and start skein fishing the holes. This has been productive throughout the day. The run has been late to get started this year so it should last a little longer into October.
