Water levels are low, but fishing has been good. Not many spring fish in the upper river but it will not be long with some 50-degree days in the forecast.

Spring steelhead are on the move through the whole system. The lower river was fishing good before the melt. It should improve when the water clears.

The Grand River is starting to fish good and should see a big push of fish within the next week or two.

With the recent rain, the water levels are on the rise so we will see if that brings a push of fish up river.

Most of the fish are in the mid-to-upper part of the river. We will not be back to this river until mid-August for the King Salmon.
